Located in the Greater Princeton area, South Brunswick and the surrounding community is home to many restaurants and bars, retail shopping and growing businesses. Within minutes of our Board & Brush Creative Studio is the Tiger's Tale Restaurant and Bar, the Stage House Restaurant and Bar and Confectionately Yours Family restaurant. Within the Town Place Shopping Center, there is a CVS, Coldstone Creamery, and The UPS Store, across the street is Vinny's Pizzeria. Right outside is a stop for the suburban transit bus coming from New York, and NJ Transit train stations are located nearby. South Brunswick is midpoint between Princeton and Rutgers Universities and is centrally located between Philadelphia, New York City and the Jersey Shore, each only one hour away.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in South Brunswick, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush South Brunswick Owners
Glori & Mike Callagy
It all started when Glori saw a Facebook post of some of her friends at a Board & Brush out of state. She was excited to learn where she could make DIY signs too! Glori and Mike have always wanted to start a business together but never found something that was just the right fit. They knew they worked well as a team on many projects and could do anything together as they had made it through some of life’s greatest challenges. After attending one Board & Brush workshop, they both knew they had found the right business for them! A business where Mike could use his silly, creative self to motivate and teach others to create works of art and where Glori could steer the business and marketing side and help people get as excited as she did about Board & Brush.
Mike recently ended his 35-year career in law enforcement and Glori continues to work with individuals with special needs, as she has for the past 25 years. Mike coached sports and has been teaching kids to drive on the side for many years. In his spare time, he rides a Harley and is a serious sports enthusiast. Mike and Glori recently celebrated being married for 16 years and love spending time together listening to rock and roll music and enjoying their favorites, sushi, seafood and wings.
Glori and Mike are excited about bringing Board & Brush to their home town of South Brunswick and sharing the fun with their community. They are also celebrating this exciting journey with their children Michael and Gabi, and in memory of their daughter, Amanda and her artistic abilities.

Board & Brush South Brunswick is located in the Town Place Shopping Center at 3562 Route 27, Unit #122. The shopping center shares space with the CVS, Coldstone Creamery, Lili’s Chinese Food and Glendale Liquors (next to the old Roller Skating Rink).
