Redlands, CA is located halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. For more than 75 years, it was the largest naval orange producer in the region, so the city still carries the charm of its citrus days! Redlands has a thriving historic downtown with a mix of local shops and restaurants. It’s also now home to Garner Holt Productions, Inc., the world's finest animatronics, special effects, show action systems, and more. Redlands is privy to being an hour's drive to the beach or mountains—you could do both in a day if you felt the urge!

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Redlands, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Redlands Owners
Kelly & Jeremiah Moore
Kelly Moore is a Redlands native, born and raised… she even lives across the street from her childhood home! She is a Registered Nurse but has also always been a queen of DIY. From scrapbooking and painting to epoxy and glitter; she is always involved in something crafty. When Kelly isn’t working or doing projects, she can be found curled up with a book cuddling with her chi-poodle, Lily. Jeremiah Moore is a Veteran of the Marine Corp and currently works as a Senior Product Engineer. When he isn’t pulling trailers for the Marching Band, he loves to play around with woodworking! Kelly and Jeremiah have been married for over 18 years and have 3 boys.
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Kelly found herself with a lot of extra time on her hands. She started working as a workshop assistant at Board & Brush Redlands as a hobby. Because Kelly had fallen in love with the studio, when the opportunity came up to become an owner, she and Jeremiah were thrilled to take on the new adventure!

Board & Brush Redlands is located on the south side of Parkwest Plaza, around the corner from the Selah Christian Store. It has easy access to I-10, plenty of parking, and is a short drive to a variety of restaurants.
