Panama City is located in the Florida Panhandle along the Gulf of Mexico. It is a great place to visit the world's most beautiful sugar sand beaches. Kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing and kiteboarding are popular activities on the crystal-blue waters of the world-class beaches are located just a few minutes away in St. Andrews Bay. Head over to Captain Anderson's Restaurant to watch the fishing fleets bring in the freshest seafood the Gulf has to offer. Take the kids for a fun filled day at Shipwreck Island Water Park or rent a boat at Lagoon Pontoons and head to Shell Island. Panama City is also proud to be the home of Tyndall Air Force Base.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Panama City, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Panama City Owners
Courtney Dickerson & Heather Risinger
Courtney is a military spouse originally from Wasilla, Alaska but now calls Panama City, FL home. Her and her husband, Scott have 3 girls and homeschool. She loves to garden, read and spend time with family and friends. Heather and her husband, Wayne are both military veterans and have 3 children.
Heather was born and raised in Panama City, FL and has returned home to raise her family and homeschool her children. She loves the beach, reading, and creating. Courtney and Heather are truly soul sisters and have a mutual passion for DIY projects.
On October 10, 2018 our community was devastated by Hurricane Michael. With so much destruction and debris they decided to create something beautiful out of the remains of their town. They started creating signs out of broken fences from the storm in Courtney's dining room. This was a hit with the community, and they decided they wanted to grow their business. After much research they discovered Board & Brush. They were instantly in love and ready to open a Board & Brush not only for themselves but for their community.
