Are you looking for a night out with friends? Is your inner DIY itching for a fun new project without having to buy all your own supplies and make a mess at your house? Then BOOK A WORKSHOP for the ultimate paint and sip experience at Board & Brush Creative Studio in Coeur d'Alene.
Coeur d'Alene (CDA), ID is the largest city in North Idaho and is located about 30 miles east of Spokane, WA. It is known for its outdoor recreational activities, like hiking the nearby trails and golfing at one of the 5 courses in the city, including the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course and its unique 14th hole floating green. In the summer months, boating and water skiing on Lake Coeur d'Alene is common, and CDA also plays host to the popular Iron Man Triathlon. The surrounding area is popular for outdoor enthusiasts, plus you’ll find the Silverwood Theme Park about 20 miles north. The city is rich in culture and invites tourism all year round. Huckleberries are a staple of Idaho and can be found in everything from ice cream to cocktails!

Beer and wine are available for purchase in the studio.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Coeur d'Alene, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Megan & Wes Weeks
Megan's professional career is practicing as a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner. When she isn't working, she enjoys music, hiking, puzzles, and photography. She is a self-certified crafter, loving all mediums, but wood has been her favorite by far! Board & Brush gives her the creative outlet she needs after a busy week.
Wes is a 12-year Army Veteran, certified welder, and currently a full-time firefighter serving the North Idaho Community. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and reading. When these two aren't busy working, they support their four children with school, sports, and extracurriculars. Hilda, their four-legged family member, rounds out the Weeks home!
Megan loves to make workshops memorable with lots of laughter and enthusiasm. No matter what, she knows that you'll have a great experience, and she can't wait to share her love of DIY with you!

Board & Brush Coeur d’Alene is located in the Prairie Shopping Center, between Government Way and Hwy 95. The studio is directly between Killer Burger and State Farm, near Local Deli, Panera and Arby’s.
