Manchester is a small town centrally located half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga on Interstate 24 in Coffee County. It has been the home of the Bonnaroo Music Festival since 2002. Other notable sites include Normandy Lake, Tim’s Ford Lake, and numerous waterfalls including Machine Falls, Rutledge Falls, and Fall Creek Falls. Jack Daniels Distillery, Beans Creek Winery, Willowbrook Golf Course, and Old Stone Fort State Archeological Park, and Arnold Air Force are all within a short driving distance of Manchester.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Manchester, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Manchester Owners
Pamela Posch & Melissa Ellison
Pam and Lisa have been friends since 2007. They met living in the same neighborhood in Manchester at a neighborhood garage sale. As they were both new to Manchester, they bonded over their children’s activities and PTA, but their friendship encompassed so much more!
Pam grew up in Tennessee and went to college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro where she studied Marketing and Nursing. After college, Pam pursued her career in visual merchandising. Pam is the mother of three children and her rescue boxer, Max, who is hearing impaired. Lisa is the daughter of an Air Force officer and grew up all across the United States. Lisa attended college at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, majoring in Marketing and received her Master’s in Human Relations. Lisa is the mother of three girls who keep her very busy. Lisa also is the fur mom of three heeler-Australian shepherd babies.
Pam has always had a creative side where Lisa is more analytical which makes them the perfect team! Their love of DIY began when they remodeled Lisa‘s bathroom 12 years ago. Since then there have been many projects completed between their two households. Pam and Lisa have always worked well together and previously built a successful business from the ground up and ran it together for 8 years. When they discovered Board & Brush on a girls’ day out, they knew it would be the perfect next adventure!

Board & Brush Manchester is located on McArthur Street (Highway 55) next to Clearwater Pools and across from Hoover Paint, just down the road from Walgreens and Sonic.
