The Fort Worth studio is located in a fun shopping center in SW Fort Worth! Nearby are a number of great restaurants and bars including Specs Wine & Spirits, Razoo’s Restaurant, Wing Stop, Academy and Hallmark next door, makes it the perfect place for a paint and sip style studio with girl’s night out or date night in mind.
Board & Brush Fort Worth is a BYOB establishment.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Fort Worth, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Fort Worth Owners
MaKayla & Nicholas Kania
MaKayla and Nick Kania are so excited to be the owners of Board & Brush Fort Worth! Early in their relationship, they found a love for woodworking and doing projects around the house together. From building their patio furniture, decorating their daughter’s nursery, and completing other simple projects around the house, MaKayla has always enjoyed having a creative outlet. She spent 5 years teaching first grade and now loves that Board & Brush allows her to have a more flexible schedule and to spend more time with family. Nick has been in the aviation industry for over 17 years, moving from flight instructing, flying both corporate and commercial, and now managing an instruction program right in DFW.
In their free time, Nick and MaKayla enjoy spending time with their daughter, Madilynn, and their dogs. When they aren’t in the studio, you can find them planning their next travel adventure or spending time with their family and friends. Although they may be new to the area, they are so excited to see where this adventure takes them and to share this experience with all the friends they have met along the way!
