1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The 2024 Board & Brush Holiday Team Building Contest (“Contest”) will accept Entries beginning on 10/21/2024 at 10:00 am CDST and ending on 10/28/2024 at 5:00 PM CDST (the “Promotion Period”). In your entry, tell us about your workplace and your amazing team of co-workers. Prizes will be awarded to the three best stories. All prizes must be redeemed during the 2024 holiday season, on or before 12/23/2024.

The sponsor of this Contest is Board and Brush Creative Studio Franchising LLC (“Sponsor”). By participating in the Contest, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries, selection of the winners, and the overall administration of the Contest. Entrants should look solely to Sponsor with any questions, comments or problems related to the Contest. Sponsor may be reached by email at hello@boardandbrush.com. No social media company, whether Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X or any other, are affiliated with or associated with this Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY (“Entrants”): Except as follows, the Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 21 years old and who reside in areas that are in proximity to and reachable by Contest winners. Prizes must be redeemed at a Board and Brush workshop studio. See locations at https://boardandbrush.com/studio-locations/. Entrants are responsible for confirming there is a local Board and Brush workshop studio near their residence and identifying the location in which they wish to redeem their prize if they are selected to win. Contest winners will be responsible for their own transportation to the workshop studio they identify. Only one entry per household is permitted. Residents of the following states are not eligible to participate: Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

In addition, Sponsor, and its franchisees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees, are ineligible to enter the Contest or win a prize. Household Members and Immediate Family Members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. “Household Members” shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. “Immediate Family Members” shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or not in compliance with applicable law.

3. PRIZES:

Grand Prize. One Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of one in-studio Team Building Group Holiday Party to be shared by the winner and up to 11 of their co-workers at a Pick Your Project workshop in a location near the winner. See workshop locations at https://boardandbrush.com/studio-locations/. THE WINNER AND THEIR CO-WORKERS MUST SHARE ONE WORKSHOP AS A TEAM. THE WORKSHOP MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH THE SELECTED STUDIO LOCATION AND MUST OCCUR ON OR BEFORE 12/23/2024. The value of this prize is approximately $876.00. The winner will be provided with a pass code that can be used by up to 12 of their co-workers to register for their workshop and select their projects. Should the Contest winner and/or their co-workers choose to purchase drinks and/or refreshments during the workshop, these will be at each group member’s own cost and expense. No purchase is required. Contest winner and their co-workers will also be responsible their costs of transportation to and from the selected workshop studio.

Second Prize. @HOME kits for the winner of the second prize and up to 11 of their co-workers will be provided to the team Entrant. The @HOME kit designs will all feature the same work-related theme. The value of this prize is up to $300.00. The second prize winner will arrange to pick up the @HOME kits at the winner’s selected workshop location on or before 12/23/2024.

Third Prize. @HOME kits for the winner of the third prize and up to 11 of their co-workers will be provided to the team Entrant. The @HOME kit designs will all feature the same work-related theme. The value of this prize is up to $300.00. The third prize winner will arrange to pick up the @HOME kits at the winner’s selected workshop location on or before 12/23/2024.

Should the winners’ employers consent, their information may appear in winner announcements and publicity.

Only one prize per person and per household will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by any winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The value of the prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of value, which determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated value, the difference will not be awarded in cash. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize vouchers.

This Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, the Prizes will only be awarded within the United States and must be picked up at an operating Board & Brush location. See workshop locations at https://boardandbrush.com/studio-locations/. Winners will be responsible for their transportation to and from the selected Board & Brush location. Any applicable federal, state and/or local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.

4. HOW TO ENTER: Enter the Contest during the Promotion Period online at https://boardandbrush.com/holiday-team-building-contest/ between 10/21/2024 and 10/28/2024 at 5:00 pm CDST. In your entry, tell us in 500 words or less, why your workplace and your co-workers are awesome. Tell us how you’d love to share this team-building time with your co-workers. Three stories, judged to be the best by the Sponsor’s executive staff, will win prizes.

Entries submitted must be made by the Entrant, and each Entrant must submit a unique story and essay. Multiple employees from a single employer may enter, but each Entrant must submit a unique story and essay. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification. All entries must be received by the Sponsor on or before the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Contest.

5. WINNER SELECTION: The stories submitted by Entrants during the Promotion Period will be reviewed by the Sponsor’s executive staff and the Entrants with the best stories will be selected and awarded the Prizes. The winners will be selected within seven business days after the Promotion Period by Sponsor’s executive staff, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by email at the email address provided in the entry Information approximately seven business days after the winner selection. Potential winners must accept a prize by email as directed by Sponsor within 48 hours of notification. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive a notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.

Any winner notification not responded to or returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a release of liability, and a publicity release (collectively “the Prize Claim Documents”). If a winner’s employer wishes to be identified in winner announcements and publicity, they may also be required to execute a publicity release. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor.

7. PRIVACY: Board and Brush plans to share portions of your story and reasons why your workplace and co-workers are special in post-Contest publicity. Sponsor will also photograph and film the first-place winner’s workshop and may use the filming in future marketing to highlight fun team-building workshops at Board and Brush studios. Please do not enter if you or your co-workers object to being filmed. Sponsor will use your email address and any other personally identifiable information for Contest administration and prize fulfillment, including use in a publicly available winner’s list. Your employer may be identified in publicity if it consents. When entering, you may opt in to receive communications and promotions from a local Board and Brush studio, but opting in is entirely voluntary and will not increase or change your odds of winning a prize. Any personal information you supply will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor posted at https://boardandbrush.com/privacy-policy/.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.

If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, events beyond the reasonable contemplation and control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part.

9. SOCIAL NETWORK DISCLAIMER: You may see a link to enter the Contest on a social media platform, and you may follow that link to the entry form on Sponsor’s website. Entrants acknowledge that this Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X or any other social media outlet. Entrant further agrees to release any and all social media outlets from any and all liability of any kind. Sharing or retweeting information on your social media accounts will not increase your chances of winning and may violate rules for usage of those platforms.
