Medina is a charming suburb conveniently located between Cleveland and Akron. This family-friendly town has an inviting vibe with a wonderful sense of community. Medina is known for their historic architecture, great schools, Al Root Candle Company, boutique shops & restaurants, festivals, farmers market, & their enchanting Public Square.
Board & Brush Medina is a licensed establishment.
Beer and malt beverages are available for purchase in the studio.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Medina, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Medina Owner
Adriane Kerr
Adriane Kerr was born and raised in Medina County. She graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management/Business Administration and a minor in Sales Management. Once she began a sales career working with small businesses and franchises, she always thought of opening her own business but wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. After years in sales and the medical industry, she knew she wanted to find a better fit that would be something she loved and something more flexible with her kids’ schedules.
That’s where Board & Brush came in! Adriane loves gathering with friends and family and of course all things personalized! When she attended her first workshop, she quickly fell in love with the concept and was thrilled when presented with the opportunity to own Board & Brush Medina. It’s the perfect fit, and Adriane is so excited to meet new people and help them make something creative based on their own unique style!
Adriane lives in Medina with her partner, Dan, and their three daughters. They love cooking, enjoying the outdoors, gathering with family and friends, and taking their girls on adventures!

Board & Brush Medina is located at the Signature Square Plaza just 2 miles east of the City of Medina, in Medina Township. It is only a 1/2 mile west of the I-71/SR 18 interchange & I-271.
