Prescott, AZ is “everybody’s hometown”! It is a great place to enjoy the benefits of Northern Arizona with plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing and more. Watson Lake and Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park are not a far drive away! The area is known for its many shops, restaurants, and historic hotels; including Hotel St. Michael and Hassayampa Inn. Prescott, AZ is home to the World’s Oldest Rodeo, and is also known as “Arizona’s Christmas City”. Many tourists come here for both the spring-thru-fall activities and the mild weather!
Board & Brush Prescott is a BYOB establishment only after 4 P.M. per Arizona law.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Prescott, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Prescott Owners
Bailie & Shane Sanders
Bailie and Shane both had a career in Ophthalmology before they met. Bailie was working in Phoenix and Shane had just moved back home to Prescott after graduating Optometry school. They met online, and the rest was history! The two grew up in Prescott and decided to call it their forever home.
Shane is now a full time Optometrist in the Prescott area and Bailie decided to change career fields. She has always had a creative streak, and together, they've completed many DIY home projects. Bailie with the creativity, and Shane with the plan! They make a great DIY Duo. When Bailie began working part time at the local Board & Brush studio, she fell in love with crafting with her community. When the opportunity came about to purchase the local Prescott studio, they just knew it was the perfect fit. The Sanders love what the Board & Brush brand represents and what it offers to their community in terms of a fun and a rewarding creative experience.
Bailie and Shane have experienced life outside of the Prescott area, which has only given them a greater appreciation for what Prescott has to offer for families and entertainment. They are excited to be small business owners in their hometown community. The Sanders’ house would not be a home without their son Vincent and Aussiedoodle Goose. They enjoy family game nights, golfing, paddle boarding and any outdoor activities.

Board & Brush Prescott is located near Prescott‘s Downtown Square in Whiskey Row Alley, next to Back Alley Wine Bar. The studio is directly behind the parking garage, near Old Firehouse Plaza and El Gato Azul.
