Located in the Greater Princeton area, South Brunswick and the surrounding community is home to many restaurants and bars, retail shopping and growing businesses. Within minutes of our Board & Brush Creative Studio is the Tiger's Tale Restaurant and Bar, the Stage House Restaurant and Bar and Confectionately Yours Family restaurant. Within the Town Place Shopping Center, there is a CVS, Coldstone Creamery, and The UPS Store, across the street is Vinny's Pizzeria. Right outside is a stop for the suburban transit bus coming from New York, and NJ Transit train stations are located nearby. South Brunswick is midpoint between Princeton and Rutgers Universities and is centrally located between Philadelphia, New York City and the Jersey Shore, each only one hour away.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in South Brunswick, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush South Brunswick Owner
Deepika Chandola
Deepika is very passionate for her township and strongly believes local businesses are the backbone of the community. She holds a master’s degree in tourism management and a bachelor’s degree in hotel management, and possesses skills from the hospitality industry, primarily guest relations and customer service. She is most active as a volunteer for several local groups, including School PTO’s, Township Library and Recreational Sports.
When Deepika learned of the opportunity to become the owner of Board & Brush South Brunswick, she was intrigued. After reminiscing of her personal experiences and fond memories created at the studio, she knew she had to find a way to keep her most cherished studio operational. After pondering over the situation, she decided to move forward so that the MAGIC effect of the studio’s workshop could be enjoyed for many more years to come!
With her unmatchable enthusiasm for life and experience in creative arts, Board & Brush couldn’t be a better fit! Deepika resides with her loving husband, Vivek, and two sons, Aaditya and Vikram, plus Goldie, the family’s golden retriever. When not volunteering, Deepika enjoys playing tennis, running at her local park, traveling, hiking, listening to music, reading, baking & cake decorating, and enjoying all kinds of fitness and sports activities.

Board & Brush South Brunswick is located in the Town Place Shopping Center at 3562 Route 27, Unit #122. The shopping center shares space with the CVS, Coldstone Creamery, Lili’s Chinese Food and Glendale Liquors (next to the old Roller Skating Rink).
