Galentine’s Day: Board & Brush Edition!
Ever since beloved TV character Leslie Knope coined the term “Galentine’s Day” in the hit show ‘Parks and Rec’, besties have been using it as an excuse to gather together and celebrate friendship. We couldn’t possibly love the idea more!
Galentine’s Day is all about spreading love and showing appreciation to the girls closest to you. There are really no set rules about how – and when – you celebrate this special day. That’s the best part, you can choose an event or activity that really speaks to YOU and your favorite girls.
At Board & Brush, many of our local studios are hosting Galentine’s Day and Girls’ Night Out events that are perfect for bringing people together over a night of creative DIY. Today, we’re here to share inspo for the perfect Galentine’s Day celebration – starting off with a Board & Brush workshop and ending with a cozy night in with yummy treats and your favorite drinks. Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Attend a DIY Workshop
Check out your local studio’s event calendar and pick a day that works best for you and your group. The event doesn’t have to be a Galentine’s themed event…after all, every day is girls’ night out at Board & Brush!
From the moment you step into our workshops, you’ll be greeted by a warm staff in an upbeat atmosphere. During the time you’re at our workshops, we want you to be able to forget all your worries and dive into a creative outlet. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the DIY process, so you never have to worry if you’re not a woodworking pro. All that’s left for you and your girls to do is get creative, enjoy the fun music, and sip & paint the night away!
Step 2: Take some photos
Let’s be honest, taking cute photos with the girls is so fun! At our workshops, there will be plenty of fun photo ops, and our staff is happy to be your photographer. Be sure to tag Board & Brush in your photos so we can see your creations and all the fun you had along the way!
Step 3: Head home to continue the fun!
Once you’ve finished your girls’ night out, you can begin your girls’ night in. Head home with your besties, bring out some cute Valentine’s Day treats plus your favorite beverages to sip on, and chat and laugh the night away!
