Easton is part of the Lehigh Valley metro area, located just 50 miles north of Philadelphia, 70 minutes from New York City and 30 minutes from the Poconos. We are the home of National treasures such as Crayola, Hall of Fame Boxing Champion Larry Holmes, the oldest, continuous open-air Farmers Market in the Nation and it’s many eateries from casual to fine dining. Always something to do in this ever-growing community.?
The Easton Studio is officially Penn State licensed, available for an additional cost.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Easton, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Easton Owners
Debbie Koussai & Buffy Allen
Debbie spent over 30 years as a Health Insurance Broker for the Medicare Market and 6 years as a Spa owner. As a health insurance Broker, she conducted sales & marketing events directed to the over 65 (age) population. She also conducted educational and marketing events for over 20 insurance carriers in the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley PA areas. As a Spa owner, she specialized in treatment of professional athletes in the cycling, basketball and track & field events, including one of the country’s oldest marathon runners. She was also a part of the Wellness Team for Pro Golfers at the 2013 US Open in Merion PA.
Buffy has been in the customer service field for over 25 years. Most recently she worked at a local Camera Shop that has a School Photography business. She is very detail orient and loves to help make customers happy and satisfied. Her dream has always been to open up her own business to help, teach and inspire others to find their inner creativity. When she started working with Debbie at Board & Brush Allentown, she knew this was where she wanted to be! She’s been married to the love of her life John, for almost 24 years and they have three amazing children. Kayla soon to be married to Nick, Tyler soon to marry Molly and Jonathan. They also have two fur babies Tucker and Rosie. Family is the most important part of their lives!
