Fairfield, CA is a beautiful little city in Solano County, located directly between San Francisco and Sacramento. Fairfield is home to Travis Air Force Base, as well as the Budweiser factory, Heretic Brewery, and the Jelly Belly Company. Fairfield has a number of parks including the Rockville Hills Regional Park, which is a great place to enjoy biking, hiking, or a relaxing nature walk. Fairfield is known in Solano County for its two public golf courses: Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano Golf Course. Fairfield also has well-known family-owned restaurants that have been around for generations, like Dave’s Giant Hamburgers, Joe’s Buffet, and Pelayos.

Beer, cider, and seltzers are available for purchase in the studio.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Fairfield, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Fairfield Owner
Briana Mason
Briana Mason has always loved working in customer service, having previously been a general manager in fast-paced, high-volume clothing stores. Crafting and DIY have always been a little spark of hers, so after her and her husband, Steven, took part in a Board & Brush workshop, they instantly fell in love. Since leaving the retail world, she had been searching for something that would be hands-on, creative, and provide a social outlet. The endless options of designs, stains, and colors offered in a workshop inspired Briana to bring Board & Brush to her hometown of Fairfield. She has always been handy when it comes to DIY and knew this would be her opportunity to share that joy of creating with her community!
Briana and Steven have two beautiful and silly girls, Hunter and Savannah. They also have a mini farm growing at home with one dog, two cats, and four chickens. In their spare time you can find them working in their garden, cooking, on a mini adventure, or spending time with family and friends.
