Oak Creek, WI is a suburb just southwest of Milwaukee located along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The city is one of fastest growing in Milwaukee and home to Wisconsin’s first Ikea. The Board & Brush studio is close to American Family field and some great restaurants and coffee shops, including Waterstreet Brewery, O&H Bakery, Belair Cantina and Cubanitas. Board & Brush is the perfect location for your next event or night out.
Board & Brush Oak Creek is a licensed establishment.
Beer and malt beverages are available for purchase in the studio.
Please note, wine is not available and BYOB is not permitted.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Oak Creek, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Oak Creek Owners
Rachel Proeber & Alicia Sittig
Rachel Proeber and Alicia Sittig have been sisters since 2005 and friends for even longer. 2020 brought a lot of change to their lives, and they decided it was the perfect time to take a bold leap of faith and become business partners!
Alicia is married to Rachel’s oldest brother, Ryan. She has spent the last decade in healthcare and is excited to start this new adventure with Board & Brush. She has a wonderfully supportive husband, two sons, Mason and Avery, and a daughter, Magnolia. When she's not doing her own DIY projects, she spends her days taxiing kids around, enjoying the outdoors, and hanging out with her large family.
Rachel has a culinary degree, has spent years in customer service, and has been part of the Oak Creek Board & Brush team since it opened in 2017. If you have been to the Oak Creek studio often, she has most likely taught one of your classes! She was born with creative juices flowing and is an expert DIYer. Her husband, Mark, and fur baby, Gretta, are ready to take on this new journey with her.
Rachel and Alicia can’t wait to meet all of you fellow DIYers and help you create something you love.

Board & Brush Oak Creek is located in the Centennial Park Business center on the east side of Howell Ave. The studio is just down the street from Starbucks and Jersey Mike’s.
