Are you looking for a night out with friends? Is your inner DIY itching for a fun new project without having to buy all your own supplies and make a mess at your house? Then BOOK A WORKSHOP for the ultimate paint and sip experience at Board & Brush Creative Studio in Wesley Chapel.
Wesley Chapel is a growing suburb located about thirty minutes north of Tampa, built among pockets of ‘old Florida’ country living. Residents choose the area because of its proximity to I75 and I275, and its relatively short commute to downtown Tampa. The community is named for the Methodist chapel that once stood on the northwest corner of SR 54 and Boyette Road. It is now full of both young families and long-time residents, creating a strong sense of community among many of the residents. The area has been experiencing rapid development with new housing and commercial developments such as Tampa Premium Outlets, Florida Hospital Center Ice, The Shops at Wiregrass, and big box retail center The Groves. The area is continuously growing with many new national retailers set to open stores in the coming years and many additional residential communities planned and already under construction.
Board & Brush Wesley Chapel is a licensed establishment.
Beer and wine are available for purchase in the studio.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Wesley Chapel, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Wesley Chapel Owners
Melissa & Davey James
Melissa and Davey have a passion for creating momentous occasions! Their journey together has been very eventful and filled with an abundance of gratitude. Melissa is originally from Florida while Davey is originally from Virginia, where the two met. Melissa and Davey have three amazing adult children and one dog named Bella, their four-legged spoiled Labrador. Now being empty nesters, they decided to take on a new adventure after attending a B&b workshop in 2022.
Melissa was an educator in the public school system for 20-years and Davey has worked in the professional corporate sector as an executive leader in the hospitality industry for over 25-years. Melissa is a cancer survivor and feels so blessed to start the journey of owning a B&b studio and to help others create memorable moments. In their spare time they enjoy their church, traveling, sporting events, and time with their family and friends. Together, their expectation is to ensure that their studio will be the place for fun and creativity.

Board & Brush Wesley Chapel studio is located in the brand new Nye Commons building, easily off I-75 just South of the intersection of Hwy 54 and Bruce B Downs. It is a short drive to Tampa Premium Outlets, Wiregrass Mall, and the many restaurants, bars, and entertainment in the surrounding area to hangout before or after a workshop.
