Westminster is a northwest suburb of Denver. It is a family friendly city boasting an extensive trail network and open space. Residents and visitors enjoy the 12-mile Big Dry Creek Trail that leads directly to Standley Lake. In addition to lake life activities, Westminster is home to several notable golf courses including Legacy Ridge, The Heritage at Westmoor, and Hyland Hills.
Board & Brush Westminster is a licensed establishment.
Beer and wine are available for purchase in the studio.

SIP & PAINT AT OUR WOOD SIGN WORKSHOPS
At Board & Brush in Westminster, we marry the joy of wine and paint with the classic timelessness of wooden signs. Our instructor-led DIY wood sign workshops allow you to combine your creativity and willingness to learn new skills. We provide you with the instruction, materials and design for you to distress, sand, stain, paint, and customize your personalized piece of art!
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP
View our calendar above to find a date and time that works best for you and your friends and family (the more, the merrier!). You can also look for a workshop that features the type of project you’d like to create, like a PYP or specialty project. Then, you’ll browse our gallery of hundreds of designs to choose which one you’d like to create in your upcoming workshop!
2. ARRIVE EARLY!
Our workshops start on time, so you’ll want to arrive early to get settled! You can start thinking about the endless creative possibilities ahead, take photos with friends, and enjoy your favorite beverage (some studios are BYOB, while others sell alcohol, please check with your local studio about their policies).
3. GET YOUR DIY ON!
At your paint and sip workshop, you’ll turn raw wood into a finished project fit for your home! You’ll be guided by our expert instructors throughout each step in the workshop - sanding, distressing, staining, painting your stencil, and waxing! You choose all your colors in person at the workshop! Our workshops are typically about 3 hours long.
4. DISPLAY YOUR NEW DÉCOR
When you leave our workshops, you’ll leave with a wood project that you’ll be proud to display in your home! We mean it when we say that no experience is necessary - our instructors are there to help turn you into a DIY expert. Now that your beautiful farmhouse-inspired project is complete, you’ll take it home to find the perfect spot to display it!

Meet Board & Brush Westminster Owners
Megan Fernandez & Candice Gilbert
Megan has always enjoyed DIY projects. After her children were born, her craft closet turned into a craft room. She is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana. She lives in Denver by way of Florida with her husband. They have a 6-year-old daughter Isla and a 2-year-old son Nolan. Isla is just as artistic as her mama and provided the inspiration for Board & Brush Westminster. Megan has spent her career in marketing, sales, and accounting. She found the Board & Brush Franchise opportunity via Facebook and knew she finally found what she wanted to do when she grew up! When she's not instructing classes, you'll find her reading, traveling, and enjoying the sites of Denver with her family!
Candice has always enjoyed spending time with her family so when her daughter called and asked if she would be interested in being her business partner at Board & Brush, she jumped at the chance to be her daughter's business partner. She retired from the Insurance and Financial Services industry after 27 years of Sales and Management experience. She held roles in sales, marketing and sales management as an Agency Director and looks forward to using those skills to launch their Board & Brush Westminster location. With 2 children and 4 grandchildren in two different states, she looks forward to more quality time with all her family.

Board & Brush Westminster is located in the middle of the Westminster Village Shopping Center behind the McDonald’s and adjacent to the soon to be PGA store. The studio is just steps away from the US 36 and Sheridan Rail Station.
