Board & Brush Safety Harbor, FL is Now Open!

 In Board & Brush News

Please help us give a warm welcome to Stephany Murphy and Jana Mir – the owners of the new Board & Brush Safety Harbor, FL! We are so excited to welcome this new studio to our growing franchise family.

Steph Murphy and Jana Mir met at a local Board & Brush and became fast friends. Jana was hired as seasonal help and she loves to tell the story of how, when the season was over, Steph asked the B&b owner if they could “keep her”. Steph and Jana share a passion for B&b that is unmatched, so when the opportunity came to open their own studio, they jumped at the chance! These two have paint and stain in their blood, and they haven’t met a B&b project they couldn’t wait to make. When you come to a workshop at Safety Harbor, be ready to have SO MUCH FUN (it’s their motto, and occasionally a drinking game). The music will be pumping, the studio will be hopping, and the B&b Safety Harbor family will be with you every step of the way. According to Steph and Jana, “You will come in, excited about the project you are about to make. You will leave, talking about the project you want to make next.”

Steph is all about family! Her true joy comes from her hubby (shout out to Jeff! Her very own Bob The Builder), two awesome sons, a dog and a tortoise. Her favorite pastimes include family gatherings, driveway parties, getting tattoos, baking, reading and anything Hamilton-related. Steph has a fondness for sawdust and power tools, which makes B&b the perfect place for her.

Jana is the proud mom of four amazing – and grown – sons, one delightful dog, and the world’s largest goldfish. She likes to spend her free time with friends, baking, volunteering, and traveling. She is addicted to the Hallmark Channel (she loves love) and can often be seen cruising around town in her Habanero Red convertible VW bug with Hercules by her side. People always ask Jana how many B&b projects she has made…she is super excited about her new answer, “Enough to fill our studio!”

Board & Brush Safety Harbor is located 7 minutes from downtown in the Oakbrook Plaza on the southwest corner of McMullen Booth and Enterprise Road, behind Norton’s Eastside Sports Bar. Check out their calendar for events perfect for your next Girls’ Night, Date Night, and more!
